La película traza el punto rojo, que transformó la escalada en roca de un problema de ingeniería en una brillante prueba de fuerza mental y física, desde sus orígenes con un grupo heterogéneo de revolucionarios en mallas en la Baviera rural, hasta su época dorada con Wolfgang Güllich, hasta su nuevo ideal en el fenómeno alemán Megos mientras lucha para desbloquear nuevos niveles de potencial humano.
